Swanton Wildlife Management Area
Located 4 miles northwest of Swanton, this quiet 40-acre lake offers an excellent fishery after a 2005 rehabilitation. A boat ramp provides easy access to the no-wake lake and jetties provide anglers fishing the shore with easy access to the water. New restrooms, picnic tables and burn pits make Swanton Lake a great place to set up camp, And with native grasses and over 5,000 trees and shrubs planted for wildlife habitat, hunters can enjoy successful waterfowl, upland and even big game hunting.
